Ingersoll Ontario: Friendly Clubs and Societies

Ingersoll is known for being a friendly town, so you'll always find a warm welcome at any of our churches, clubs and societies. Our charitable societies such as the Rotary, Lions, Masons and Royal Canadian Legion, as well as our churches and clubs help organize events to raise thousands of dollars every year to support local charities including, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Upper Deck Youth Centre, the Alexander Hospital Foundation, Salvation Army and more.

For the Family

We offer invaluable support for the whole family, including the Ingersoll Seniors’ Activity Centre, neighbourhood parent groups, child care, school clubs, Upper Deck Youth Centre, and the pioneering, Fusion Youth Activity and Technology Centre. This innovative centre helps young people turn their ideas, talents and energies into entrepreneurial success by developing life skills in sports, the arts and technology - and having fun at the same time!

For the Sportsperson

If you love your sports, you'll enjoy Ingersoll's enthusiasm for all things energetic, including our Inline Hockey team, curling club, and swimming and fitness facilities at the Victoria Park Community Centre. You might join the popular Ingersoll Golf and Country Club where you can enjoy great value green fees and a packed calendar of social events.

For those who love the outdoors

You don't need to join a club to discover the wonderful natural beauty of our part of Ontario, but our local natural societies can help introduce you to the natural wonders most tourists don’t get the chance to experience! There's so much history to discover too, and yes, there's a society for that too!

For the sheer fun of it

We love a good celebration here in Ingersoll, so it’s no wonder we're called Festival Town Ontario! So, why not get involved with our annual festivals, such as the Canterbury Folk Festival, Ribfest and our magical, Santa’s Festival Village and Festival of Lights. You'll see that many local volunteers and groups actively participate in these events, including our proud, tartan-clad town Pipeband! The town’s residents, visitors and tourists enjoy coming out to join in the festivities, which makes Ingersoll come alive with excitement and energy on a regular basis.
